The program was a presentation on a proposed Capital Renovation Project for the B-G School District. The project will utilize special EXCEL funds from New York State in order to minimize the cost to the community. The work is mainly infrastructure repairs and upgrades. There is also some handicap accessibility work, and the installation of an emergency generator for the Greenlawn Elementary School so the building may be more effectively used as a community shelter like it was during the recent flooding our community experienced. A vote on the project is scheduled for November 27, 2007.
