A busy year for Bainbridge Rotary. There
are 3 exchange students visiting us this year. From left to right:
Carlos Molina from Chile; Camille Rouaud from France and Luiz from Brazil. |
Carlos Molina is the son of Ernesta Molina and
Paulina Lisboa Molina. Mr. Molina is an accountant and Mrs. Molina is
a manager at a gas station. Carlos is 16 and he has 3 sisters and 2
brothers, ages 2 to 31.
Carlos comes from the Town of La Ligua, about 200 km from the capital of
Santiago, Chile. The La Ligua Rotary Club sponsored Carlos for the
2006/2007 School year.
Carlos is staying with Jason and Erica Hall in Bainbridge.
His passion is sports and he is participating in BG Soccer, Tennis,
Basketball and Volleyball.

Camille Rouaud is the daughter of Alain and Marylise Rouad. Her
father is an optician and Mrs. Rouaud is a teacher. Camille is 18 and
she has one brother, 15, by the name of Clement.
Camille comes from the town of Ploermel in the Province of Bretagne in
Westner France, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. The Rotary Club of
Ploermel sponsored her for this School year.
Camille is staying with the Neubauer Family on Elm Drive
in Bainbridge.

Luiz "Rick" Tiossi is from the city of Matăon
in the Province of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is 16 years old. There
are 2 sisters and 4 brothers in his family. His father is a car
salesman, and his mother is retired.
Luiz likes to go to the movies with friends, read books,
and communicate with his family in Brazil via Instant Messenger. He is
a senior at BG and he is playing Soccer and Bowling.
Right now, Luiz is staying with the Nabinger Family on
Hillside Acres in Bainbridge.

Chunglo. He is responsible for our district opening the first
exchange with Poland.

Exchange Student History
The Bainbridge Youth Exchange program is extremely active. Our first
Inbound Rotary Exchange student came in 1959 and his name was Finn Clausin Schou
from Denmark. We have had a total of 68 exchange students between 1959 and
2000. They came from countries all over the world:
